So I have 2 of the same pillow pets. But I want to make them look different from each other. Should I use collars, bows, embroidery…?

Mustaches. Get a scrap piece of fabric and cut out a mustache-y shape and sew it into one of them. You could also wrap ribbon tightly around the other pillow pet so they are both unique.
