  1. Depends on which Nerf N Strike gun you are referring to..Stampede, one of the others? The ones that require batteries are mostly automatics and need the batteries to fire. If you want to e-mail me with the specific gun in question, I would be more than happy to e-mail you back with whether or not your particular gun will fire without batteries.
