I agree with the answer above that a Bible is the best way to go, write a nice message on the inside cover so she will always remember that it was from you.

They have some really nice and useful children’s Bibles. You can go to any Christian Bookstore. A charm bracelet with a cross charm already attached would be a thoughtful gift that she can add to as she grows as well.
A nice white Bible with her name embossed, would be perfect.

there are some really good books specifically for that. of course you could give her any book of your choosing — something you particularly liked at that age or something you find inspirational or spiritual in some way. i just look for reasons to give kids books and this is certainly a good one. I know Robert Francis Kennedy wrote one a couple of years ago about St. Francis, and there are several other good ones but, i can’t think of titles at this minute. therre’s one about an old turtle that is more inspirational than actually religious.
